Behavior and Training Aids
Milwood Animal Clinic carries many training and behavioral modification aids:
- Gentle Leader Head Collar® - Immediately eliminates pulling on the leash. With the Gentle Leader, when
you steer the dog's nose, you steer the dog's body. It's a positive, no-pain option for controlling your dog.
Available in either a Metal Buckle or Quick-Snap Release closure.
- Easy Walk Harness® - designed to gently discourage dogs from pulling while walking on a leash. The
unique front-chest leash attachment stops pulling by tightening slightly across the dog's chest and
shoulder blades. The gentle pressure steers your dog to the side and redirecting his attention back
towards you.
- MannersMinder® - a remote-controlled reward system that uses positive reinforcement to train dogs to
behave at home and perform better in competition. This invaluable tool is a must-have for dog owners
and trainers.
- SprayShield™ - SprayShield's innovative citronella formula interrupts dog attacks by surprising and
distracting animals with a powerful and unusual scent, giving the user valuable time to move to a safe
place.
- Liver Biscotti® - Naturally wholesome and preservative-free, these treats are made of only the finest
ingredients. Contain 100% USDA beef liver and are baked fresh in the USA.
- Calming Cap™ - a behavior management aid that is designed to lessen a dog's anxiety or aggression in
high-stress situations. The Cap's single-panel sheer fabric window makes the dog's vision indistinct,
which reduces the visual stimulus and enables the dog to remain calm.
- Manners Minder®, a remote-controlled reward system that uses positive reinforcement to train dogs to
behave at home and perform better in competition.
- Feliway® Spray and diffusers -a synthetic analogue of the feline facial pheromone which reproduces the
relaxation properties normally produced by the cat when it deposits its own facial pheromone in its
environment.
- DAP® Spray, Diffusers, and collars - contains an analogue of the natural canine appeasing pheromone.
D.A.P.® Spray helps comfort puppies and adult dogs in situations they may find worrying or which make
them apprehensive.

before using a deodorizer or disinfectant cleaner
