| We are here to help you enrich your relationship with your dog. We help you to train your dog basic manners that will help your dog to be the best he can be! Our goal is for you to create that well mannered family pet. Our training philosophy and techniques utilize the most up to date, humane and effective positive methods based on proven scientific learning theory. Dog training has come a long way from the 'traditional' methods based upon force and coercion. This old fashioned 'dominance theory' is simply unnecessary and will prevent you from enjoying a strong relationship with your dog build upon trust and cooperation. Your job as a 'puppy parent' is to set your dog up for the ultimate success through good management and teaching him acceptable behavior. Instead of wasting your time always telling your puppy what not to do, spend the time teaching him what you would like him to do instead. Your job is also to be consistent and communicate clearly to your dog so that he can learn quickly and efficiently. If something good happens immediately after a behavior, that behavior will likely be repeated. Dogs learn through the consequences of their behavior (just as we do). This type of training works at developing and increasing the human-animal bond. Dog friendly training based on positive reinforcement is humane, effective, and a lot of fun for you and your dog! |
